NAPPING IN A MONET

Here's a picture of me in my youth, napping in a Monet landscape. The older I get the more I realize that I've never really awakened. I used to feel guilty about napping. You know, wasting time and all that. Now I love napping. I look forward to it.

Isn't it strange how the less time you have left the more you want to nap off the remainder?

i think it is the same syndrome that causes every other book apart from the one you are supposed to be reading seem more interesting

Is just one o' those paradoxes caused by Quantum reality.

Enjoy!

Napping would be more enjoyable if I weren't dreaming of neocon mushroom clouds -- definitely not the fluffy kind. Either that or I dream that I'm working. I think I need counseling.

I know,
kids hate naps.
Apparently that dot-to-dot can't wait.

Wonderful color combination in this collage/photomontage/however you name it (what do you call those, actually?).

Napping in a Monet would be so very relaxing. As opposed to napping in a Dali or a Mondrian.

I can't nap, alas. in the rare cases that I do, it puts me in a jetlag mode for weeks. And so, I spend my afternoons envying nappers!

Sometimes a little nap is much better than a whole night of sleep. If it is pleasurable, why not pursue it?

Bed to room to dorm to house to big house to retirement village to room to bed. Life is a circle. The kinder naps and the old folks naps are probably the best parts.

There is something disturbing about this post. Perhaps it is in the last question.

Perhaps napping is our response to the slowly emerging reality of the world, the harsh reality that replaces our childish fantasies.

Cheers!
