BUSH 'LEGACY PORTRAIT' MOVED TO NATIONAL GALLERY

The famous George W. Bush "Legacy Portrait" has been moved to the special "Failure Niche" at the National Gallery in Washington.

"Look darling! It's the famous George W. Bush 'Legacy Portrait' by the late Norman Rockwell! What do you think of it?

"That man's ugly!

"Shhh! Quiet, dear! There might be hidden microphones in the picture frame.

"I don't care! He's ugly and he scares me!

"He scares all of us, dear, but why don't you pipe down now because I'm almost certain that there are hidden cameras recording every precious little word that comes out of your...

"He scares me, Mommy! I wanna go home! And, Mommy?

"Yes, dear?

"I think he's peeking down your dress.

The Bush "Legacy Portrait" will remain on display at the National Gallery through September - also known as "The Moon When Something is Finally Supposed to Happen" - at which time it will be transferred to its permanent home in The Green Zone in Baghdad...if The Green Zone is still there by then.

Any legacy picture of GWB better have the "Mission Accomplished" banner somewhere on it and Cheney in the background.

Bush's portrait would scare Satan out of hell.

But I thought only history will judge the legacy? Well, I suppose you have a point. Beauty IS in the eye of the beholder.

"Bush Legacy" is perhaps the best example of an oxymoron I've heard in a long while. I'm confused; how can you paint a portrait of something that doesn't exist?

If you're going to present a true caricature of Bush, Neil, why don't you pick something really ugly, something that better represents him.

A toad came to mind!
